COVID-19 ALERT TO ALL MALAYSIANS IN VIETNAM
Dear Malaysians,
1. As of now, the Vietnamese Government has announced tight restrictions on personal movements and behavior as well as transportation services. All these measures are intended to minimize the spread of the virus and to flatten the curve.

3. The Embassy of Malaysia in Hanoi recommends that all Malaysians in Vietnam to fully abide by the regulations and instructions given by Vietnamese authorities from time to time. The Embassy will keep updating any latest information received via its official social media pages:

4. Beginning 22 March 2020, the Vietnamese Government has suspended entry to all foreigners including people with Vietnamese visa waiver programme. Travellers who arrived in Vietnam prior to 22 March 2020 are subjected to mandatory, centralized quarantine for 14 days based on possible COVID-19 exposure or point of origin.
5. Vietnam has begun a massive COVID-19 testing campaign for all people arriving from overseas into the country since 8 March 2020. The Embassy of Malaysia advises all Malaysians to fully comply with the COVID-19 testing.
