The Embassy of Malaysia in Hanoi together with the MTCP Alumni organized a charity visit to the Tien Cau Hope Orphanage Centre on 5 August 2017. The event was co-organised with the Malaysia Club to garner more support and also to enable Malaysians in Hanoi to participate in the noble effort.
The children were treated with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and fried rice. Some of the children were having KFC for the very first time. After the meal, games were organised with the kids. Before ending the event, a group photo was taken.
The event received many positive feedbacks. The school term in Vietnam was commencing on 7 August 2017. Therefore, the school bags and stationeries were highly appreciated by the children and the orphanage. The support from all the Malaysians living in Hanoi enabled the Embassy to carry out this event successfully.
