On 13 May 2026, Encik Hanisofian Alias, Interim CEO of Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC), paid a courtesy call on the Consul General of Malaysia in conjunction with HDC’s participation as a speaker at the Fi Vietnam (Food & Ingredients) 2026 Halal Conference.
The courtesy call offered valuable insights into HDC’s roles in spearheading the development of Malaysia’s halal industry. Discussions also focused on opportunities to strengthen Malaysia-Vietnam cooperation in the growing halal sector.
