On 4 December 2023, the Consul General of Malaysia Mr. Firdauz Othman paid a courtesy call on Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Mr. Ho Ky Minh. Both sides are happy with the existing friendship between Malaysia and Vietnam and engaged in fruitful discussions on various bilateral issues of mutual interest. Aside from service and tourism fields, the two sides discussed the need to expand cooperation in the field of education as well as training of high-quality human resources for hi-tech, especially semiconductor industry.
