On 9 October 2023, the Consul General of Malaysia Mr Firdauz Othman, paid a courtesy call on Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Tran Phuoc Anh. Both sides are happy with the enduring friendship between Malaysia and Vietnam and engaged in fruitful discussions on various bilateral issues of mutual interest.
