The Chairman and senior officials of Bac Lieu province called on the Consul-General on 12 June 2017. At the meeting, officials exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation, as well as trade and investment opportunities. Bac Lieu province is located in the Mekong region, about 274 km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. The province produces agricultural goods - mainly shrimp and rice. Bac Lieu has also attracted investments in renewable energy, and would like to see more investments into this sector.
