The High Commission of #Malaysia chaired the 3rd Meeting of the #ASEAN Pretoria Committee (APC) on 30 June 2025 to review the APC’s work in strengthening the #ASEANSouthAfrica Sectoral Dialogue Partnership. The APC chairmanship for 2H 2025 was handed over to Myanmar at the end of the meeting. During Malaysia’s APC chairmanship in 1H 2025, the APC endeavoured to enhance the scope and substance of ASEAN-South Africa political, economic and socio-cultural ties through several initiatives such as with BUSA, AgriSA, WESGRO, NLSA, and federal and provincial officials. We wish Myanmar success in its chairmanship of the APC in the second half of the year!
