WATERKLOOF RIDGE, Tuesday, 19 May 2015 – Ambassador Suprapto Martosetomo, the Indonesian Ambassador to South Africa and Madam Ina Suprapto hosted a farewell dinner in honour of Ambassador Mat Dris Hj Yaacob and Madam Azirah Hashim at Wisma Duta, Perseus Street, Waterkloof Ridge this evening. All other ASEAN Heads of mission and their respective spouses were among the invitees.
In his short farewell remarks, Ambassador Mat Dris Hj Yaacob took the opportunity to also invite all around the table to say Ál-Fatehah and one Minute of Silence in honour of the late Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan and Madam, Ambassador of the Philippines as well as the wife of the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan who were killed in the tragic helicopter crash in Gilgit, Pakistan.
