PRETORIA, 22 April 2014 – HE Ambassador Mat Dris Hj. Yaacob, the High Commissioner (Designate) to South Africa and family arrived South Africa at 3pm today. They were received at the Oliver Reginald (OR) Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg by HE Francis Moloi, Chief Director of Asia, Department of International Relation and Cooperation (DIRCO), South Africa and seven (7) ASEAN Heads of Mission based in Pretoria. All members of the High Commission were also present.
HE Ambassador Mat Dris Hj. Yaacob is the sixth High Commissioner of Malaysia to South Africa succeeding HE Ambassador Kennedy Jawan who has been appointed as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Spain.
