Enhancing #ASEAN-#SouthAfrica trade, investment, and economic ties was on the agenda when the ASEAN Pretoria Committee (APC) (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) had a fruitful engagement with Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) on 16 April 2025 in Sandton. Leading the APC delegation in meeting with BUSA CEO Mr. Khulekani Mathe and his team was the APC’s 1H 2025 Chair – the High Commission of Malaysia’s CDA a.i. Yap Wei Sin, who was also joined by Har Man Ahmad of MATRADE Johannesburg, and Salim Abu Haniffa of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Southern Africa.
