The High Commission of Malaysia attended a breaking of fast (Iftar) with the Bosmont Malay Community at the invitation of Mr Saeed Abrahams, the Saeed Foundation, on 15 March 2025. Bosmont, Johannesburg is home to a large community of Cape Malays, with many of them tracing their roots to the Malay Archipelago. The event also gave the Charge d'Affaires a.i. the opportunity to engage with the Hon. Mogamad Ganief Ebrahim Hendricks, Deputy Minister of Social Development, who was the guest of honour at the event.
