The discussion centered on the possibility of cooperation in the field of science and technology between Malaysia and South Africa. The Honorable Minister highlighted that Malaysia’s experience and achievement in information and communication technology, biofuel, geo-science, education technology as well as the achievement in developing the indigenous (traditional) knowledge especially in traditional medicine would be the possible areas of future collaboration. The Honorable Minister also hopes that both sides could strengthen the existing cooperation and looks forward for the proposed areas of collaboration to be realised.
