CAPE TOWN, Thursday, 24 April 2014 - Malaysia and South Africa have agreed on an innovative partnership that represents a major step towards closing the science, technology and innovation gap. Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Ewon Ebin and South African Science and Technology Minister Derek Hanekom inked the memorandum of understanding in strengthening cooperation in S&T between the two countries in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, yesterday. Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) was one among several other related agencies invited to join the visit and took the opportunity to promote MTDC Technology Commercialization Conference 2014 (11 to 12 Nov 2014) and AUTM Asia 2015 (7 to 9 April 2015).
