#Merdeka! The High Commission of #Malaysia in #Pretoria, #SouthAfrica was delighted to celebrate the 68th National Day of Malaysia and 62nd Malaysia Day with Malaysians and friends of Malaysia on 4 September 2025.
In their speeches, CDA a.i. Mr Yap Wei Sin acknowledged the deep and abiding relationship between Malaysia and South Africa, characterized by strong cooperation in bilateral, regional and multilateral fields.
While H.E. Ms Nonceba Mhlauli, Deputy Minister in the Presidency, described the excellent bilateral relationship as built on mutual respect and trust, with the partnership flourishing through trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.
The CDA a.i. recited a Pantun to reflect the kinship between Malaysia and South Africa -
PETRONAS Twin Towers berdiri megah,
Kruger Park alangkah indahnya.
Hubungan Putrajaya-Pretoria terus gagah,
Moga persahabatan kekal selamanya.
