SESSION WITH THE SA MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
The High Commissioner Dato’ Badruddin Ab. Rahman and officials from the High Commission attended a session with the Honourable Members of the South African Parliament, organized by the Political Sciences Faculty of the University of Pretoria on Wednesday, 21 June 2017.
The briefing session by the High Commissioner and other officials was held as part of the program by the university to further enhance understanding about political system in Malaysia as well as economic, culture and tourism. Fifteen Members of Parliament of South Africa joined the session and they have showed their keen interest on Malaysia, especially on Malaysia’s policy on bumiputera, program by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and land development by FELDA.
A delegation from this group will visit Malaysia, scheduled to be in September and they are expected to visit several parts of Malaysia during their tour.
