High Commissioner Dato’ Yubazlan Yusof, together with other officials of Malawakil Pretoria attended the Silver Jubilee celebration of the National Independent Halaal Trust (NIHT) on 19 April 2026.
The event marked 25 years of NIHT’s establishment as a key halal certification authority in South Africa and highlighted the country’s growing halal ecosystem. The occasion was an opportune platform for engagement with South African halal stakeholders and reaffirmed Malaysia’s position as a global reference point in halal governance.
