THE HIGH COMMISSIONER OF MALAYSIA LAUNCHED THE LIMKOKWING ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACCELERATION PROGRAMME, LIMKOKWING UNIVERSITY BOTSWANA, GABORONE, BOTSWANA

On 5 August 2009, H.E. Kennedy Jawan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Botswana launched the Limkokwing Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme (LEAP) at Limkokwing University Botswana in Gaborone, Botswana.

H.E Kennedy Jawan was received by Professor Gail Phung, Senior Vice President Limkokwing University and Y.Bhg. Ambassador Dato’ Che Hamidah Mohd Yusoff, Vice President, International Relations of Limkokwing University. Mr Jacob Swartland, Chairman of Tertiary Education Council of Botswana and Senior Government officers of Botswana were also present.

H.E Kennedy Jawan visited the new campus of the University and was briefed on the facilities and courses offered by the University which currently enrolls almost 10,000 students from countries all over the African continent. H.E Kennedy Jawan presented the certificates of participation to more than 20 private companies which comprises information technology companies, hotels, banking, and manufacturing companies which will be the host for the University’s students under the LEAP programme.
