VISIT TO KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

HAZYVIEW, 3 April 2015 – While most residents of Pretoria observing long holiday in celebrating Good Friday and Easter Day, the High Commission’s Sports and Social Club made a family trip to Kruger National Park Safari from 3-6 April 2015. In a convoy of five (5) cars, we headed for the city of Sabie and spent the afternoon in Lone Creek Waterfalls. After late lunch, we proceed to Hazyview and check in Protea Hazyview Hotel.
 
When the golfers struggling with a round of Golf Game at Sabi River Sun Golf Course on Saturday morning, other members exploring Hazyview town and visited Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park. The Saturday afternoon and Sunday were spent by the group by visiting several captivating and exotic nature of Kruger like the Caves, Mac Mac Waterfalls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Pinnacle Rock, God’s Window, Pilgrim Rest, the Big Swing, Blyde River Canyon and traversing Graskop town by foot, visiting the antiques, handicraft shops, pancake restaurants, African Paintings and Handmade African Silk workshop.
 
On Monday, two Nhongo Safari trucks picked us to Kruger National Park. We spent about 6 hours in the park including 20 minutes brunch break. We departed for Pretoria through Nelspruit and arrived home at 20:00hrs.
