How do I renew my passport after it has expired?

Please call the Embassy as soon as possible to make an appointment. If your passport has expired for more than six (6) months, you will need to prove that you have not obtained any foreign citizenship.

How much time is needed to process my passport renewal?

It will take approximately 6–8 weeks to process your passport application. Your application will be sent to the Department of Immigration Malaysia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia, to be processed and issued. We will notify you once your new passport has arrived at the Embassy.
