The Embassy of Malaysia, Abu Dhabi in cooperation with PERWAKILAN Abu Dhabi (Ladies’ Association of the Embassy of Malaysia in Abu Dhabi) hosted the Chinese New Year Celebration 2012 for Malaysians living in the United Arab Emirates on 10 February 2012. Over 250 Malaysians and “Friends of Malaysia” attended the auspicious occasion in welcoming the year of the Dragon.
During the celebration everyone had the opportunity to witness or take part in the tossing of Yee Sang also known as the Prosperity Toss ceremony which symbolizes good luck for the coming year. In addition to that, the guests were also treated with a variety of Malaysian dishes.
