HE Ambassador and the Defense Advisor met with HE Nora Al Swaidi, Director-General of the General Women's Union (GWU) on 12 September 2023. Both sides discussed possible collaboration between Malaysia and UAE to empower the roles of women in peace, security and conflict resolution.
The GWU is Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's office in pioneering the role of women and achieving global indicators in various fields. It was established in 1975 to serve as the national mechanism for the empowerment and entrepreneurship of women in the UAE.
