On 14 August 2023, HE Ambassador met with Syaikh Abdul Razzaq Abttan Sabbar, who was appointed as the judge for the upcoming Malaysia International Al Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly. The Assembly will be held on 19-24 August 2023 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). The Ambassador thanked Syaikh Abdul Razzaq for accepting the role in this year's Assembly. Syaikh Abdul Razzaq was also a competitor in the Assembly 23 years ago and won third place. The Malaysia International Al Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly has been held annually in Malaysia since 1961 and this year is its 63rd edition.
