24 May 2023, Mr. Mohd Noor Zaky Mohd Nasir, Counsellor of the Embassy of Malaysia in Abu Dhabi and Mr. Mohd Fadly Amri Aliaman, Consul-General, Dubai met with Her Highness Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, CEO of UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators UICCA. YBhg. Dato' Mohamad Razif bin Haji Abdul Mubin, Deputy Secretary General, Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC) and Ms. Esther Liew, Principal Assistant Secretary of the Ministry were also part of the delegation. YBhg. Dato' TKSU and Ms. Liew were in Abu Dhabi to attend the 12th Meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) that took place on 23-24 May 2023.
2. The meeting was held upon the invitation of the CEO of UICCA. The UICCA is a think-tank established by the UAE Government to address the climate change challenges, provide innovation-led solutions, bridge gaps and to serve as a platform for engagement between the UAE government, private sectors, NGOs and other stakeholders. 
On 24 May 2023, YBhg. Dato' Mohamad Razif Abd. Moin, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change, (NRECC) accompanied by Mr. Zaky Nasir, Counsellor of the Embassy, Mr. Mohd Fadly Amri Aliaman, Consul General of Malaysia, Dubai and Ms. Esther Liew from NRECC met with Her Highness Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, CEO of UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA). During the meeting, both sides exchanged their strategies in addresing climate change challenges and also explored ways to collaborate in the sector of sustainable and renewable energy.
