Foreign Minister Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir held a bilateral meeting with his UAE counterpart His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Kuala Lumpur on 15 June 2023.
Both Foreign Ministers extensively exchanged views on various Malaysia-UAE bilateral cooperation including in new potential areas following the elevation of ties to Strategic Partnership in September 2022. Both Foreign Ministers also agreed to institutionalise the Joint Committee for Cooperation (JCC) between Malaysia and UAE, earmarked to serve as the platform to further intensify the on-going efforts to elevate the relations to a higher level.
