On 31 August 2023, a Business Networking Program was held in-conjunction with the 66th National Day celebration. The program took place at InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel in Dubai. The program was held to celebrate Malaysia’s National Day and as a platform for networking between the local and Malaysian business communities. The program was attended by several Malaysian and local business entities among others from Petronas, Eversendai, Aventurine, Daily Fresh, Power Root, Habib Marine Amani Advisors, UEM Edgenta, Instrak Ventures Al-Madhani & Al Shamsi, Air Arabia, Etihad, MVN Motorworks, IKM Subsea Middle East, ELS Club, Operon, Vega Intertrade, Sail Serene. Approximately 40 participants attended the program.
The program has successfully fostered connections, promoted bilateral trades and strengthened the relationships among the participants. It has also encouraged interaction among the participants that can contribute to the expansion of Malaysian business presence in the UAE. Active interaction with the Q & A session was organized by the Embassy and the Malaysian Business Council (MBC). Ambassador Datuk Seri Ahmad Fadil briefed the guest on Malaysia’s recent economic and political outlook and encouraged more business cooperation between Malaysian and local companies. The Ambassador also took the opportunity to inform the guest of Malaysia’s participation at the upcoming COP28 that will be held in UAE on 30 November - 2 December 2023. The Ambassador further encouraged the guest to explore opportunities for business collaboration that may arise from the conference.
