YAB Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim met the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Parliament on 15 June 2023. The meeting was in conjunction with Sheikh Abdullah's two-day Official Visit to Malaysia from 14-15 June 2023.
The arrival of Sheikh Abdullah and the UAE delegation at the Parliament was accompanied by YB Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir. The meeting between the two leaders focused on discussions on various issues, especially in improving Malaysia-UAE bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern. The Official Visit follows the Special Visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Malaysia last month.
