The ‘World Quran Hour 2022’ Program was held on 26 April 2022 at the Official Residence of the Ambassador of Malaysia in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan in collaboration with PERWAKILAN BAKU.
The campaign which entering its 8th edition this year since its inception in 2015 was initiated by Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF) with the objective to deepen the understanding of Al-Quran and encourage all Malaysians home and abroad to interact with Al-Quran through the concept of Read, Understand and Practise based on the Quranic principles and Islamic teaching.
Surah Al-Sajdah (sujud) has been chosen as the main surah this year to appreciate the true meaning of ‘Sujud’ and how faith, prostration and humility are key towards building a compassionate ummah and a prosperous nation.
