On 8 May 2015 His Excellency Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dato Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman received a team consisting of four students, studying at the Baku State University and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The team will be participating at the “OIC Model” project initiated by the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC). Every year 200 students from the leading universities of Azerbaijan have been participating at this project since 2011. Malaysia is being represented by Miss Elnura Jalilova, Mr. Elnur Jalilov, Mr. Vurgun Askarli, and Miss Zuleykha Gurbatova.
During the meeting the Ambassador answered to all questions of the students regarding on the position and priorities of Malaysia in the OIC. His Excellency gave some information about the history, culture and politics of Malaysia. His Excellency conveyed his sincere wishes of success to the team and presented a memorable gift for the team.
