On 4 April 2022, H.E. Dato' Yubazlan Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia to Republic of Azerbaijan had a business meeting with Mr Kabilan Muniandy, event management consultant and Mr Anar Yusufzade, Head of Access to the Finance of Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) to promote Malaysian higher education in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Mohd Norsam Abdul Rahman, former Education Attaché in Dubai was also present at the meeting. The purpose of the meeting among others were to discuss the proposed Malaysian Higher Education Fair scheduled to be held this year in Baku as well as exchange of views on future prospects and challenges in promoting Malaysian higher education in Azerbaijan.
