ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony was held on August 8 2022 at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
This annual event began with ASEAN flag raising along with the singing of the ASEAN Anthem “The ASEAN Way”, followed by speech from the two Ambassadors and cake cutting ceremony. The second edition since its inauguration in 2021 hosted by the Embassy of Malaysia in Baku symbolizing the solidarity of ASEAN and to promote the spirit of friendship and cooperation under the same roof of the ASEAN Community.
