The 66th Malaysia Independence Day (National Day) will be observed on 31 August 2023. This day holds significant importance as a public holiday, marked by official and unofficial ceremonies and observances across the country.
“Malaysia MADANI: Tekad Perpaduan Penuhi Harapan” (Malaysia MADANI: Determination of Unity Fulfils Hope) has been chosen as the theme of the National Day and Malaysia Day 2023 celebration, launched by Minister of Communications and Digital of Malaysia on 27 May 2023.
The theme is in line with the government’s determination and commitment to develop the country with the people being united, possessing a high spirit of unity, and living in peace and prosperity.
