The Malaysian Minister of Finance II, the Hon. Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah visited Baku from 2 – 5 May 2015 to attend the 18th ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers Meeting and the 48th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank. In Malaysia's capacity as the Chair of ASEAN this year, the Hon. Minister co-chaired the 18th AFMGM+3 together with South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance.
The 18th AFMGM+3 discussed and exchanged views on developments in the regional economies, as well as, on the global economic prospects and challenges as contained in the Meeting’s final statement.
The Minister and his delegation also had the opportunity to visit Rumah Malaysia on 2 May 2015 for a dinner reception hosted by the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dato’ Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman and Spouse. The Guests who attended the dinner, among others, included the Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, Deputy Governor of Bank Negara (Malaysia’s Central Bank), PETRONAS General Manager for Azerbaijan Operations, Director of Malaysia’s Security’s Commission, the Executive Director of ADB and Officers from both MOF and BNM.
