On Wednesday, 29 April 2015, H.E. Dato’ Nafisah Mohamed, Ambassador-designate of the Mission of Malaysia to the European Union presented her Letter of Credence to H.E. Donald Tusk, President of the European Council. The ceremony took place at the European Council in Brussels.
The ceremony began at 4.00 p.m. followed by a private meeting with the President where issues of mutual interest between the EU and Malaysia were raised. The President also presented with an EU memento following the ceremony and meeting to the Ambassador. Apart from Malaysia, the Ambassadors-designate to the European Union whom presented their credentials to President Tusk on the same day were from Djibouti, Jordan, Maldives, Mauritania, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
