Three Malaysian Films are currently participating in the 25th Vancouver International Film Festival, from September 28 - October 13, 2006. The films are "The Rain Dogs" (Ho Yuhang), "The Last Communist" (Amir Muhammad) and "South of South" (Tan Chui-Mui).
The Screening Schedule of the three film are as follows :
Rain Dogs - Date: Sat, Sep 30 / Time: 7:00 pm / Venue: Empire Granville 7 Theatre 1 and Date: Sun, Oct 1 / Time: Noon / Venue: Empire Granville 7 Theatre 1.
The Last Communist - Date: Thu, Oct 5 / Time: 8:45 pm / Venue: Empire Granville 7 Theatre 5 and Date: Fri, Oct 6 / Time: 10:30 am / Venue: Pacific Cinematheque. Since "South of South" film is a short one, it precedes the screening of "The Last Communist".
