07/08: As the current Chair of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV), CGM coordinated and co-organized the 58th ASEAN Day Reception in collaboration with the Consulates of Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, held at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, UBC. The event was graced by the Honourable Minister @annekangburnaby, Parliamentary Secretaries @paulchoibc and @susiechantnvs , along with MLAs, Councilors, valued strategic partners, and friends of ASEAN.
The evening was filled with warm company, engaging discussions, and a delightful spread of dishes prepared by all ASEAN Consulates. Under the theme “Toward an Inclusive and Sustainable ASEAN Future”, the reception celebrated ASEAN’s shared values while further strengthening ASEAN–British Columbia relations.
