The Ladies Association of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Vancouver, PERWAKILAN Vancouver, organized their 2010 Cooking Demonstration on 11 June 2010 at the Blackberry Bistro in Richmond, British Columbia. Three special chefs demonstrated the preparation of three dishes namely, Nasi Briyani by Ms. Sadiah Muhamad, Bruschetta by Ms. Marlene Yong and Apple tarts tatin by Ms Sue Wong.
About 40 guests from the members of the Vancouver Consular Circle, Malaysia Association in British Columbia, Malaysia Singapore Brunei Cultural Association and PERWAKILAN Vancouver attended the event. Proceeds from the event was contributed to PERWAKILAN Wisma Putra for their activities.
PERWAKILAN Vancouver expressed their deep appreciation to the three Chefs for their support and to Blackberry Bistro which had kindly offered their premise for the Demonstration.
