GUIDELINES ON ENTRY AND QUARANTINE PROCESS IN MALAYSIA
1. Travelers are required to apply and obtain the approval from the Director General of Immigration of Malaysia at the following link: http://mtp.imi.gov.my/myTravelPass/main (for non-Malaysian only).
2. All travelers must present a negative RT-PCR Covid-19 result upon arrival in Malaysia. The test must be done within 48 hours of your departure to Malaysia. Travelers are advised to check with their respective airlines in advance on any other COVID-19 requirements set by the airlines to avoid complications at the airport.
3. Travelers are required to make payment in advance prior to departure via MySafeTravel (http://safetaravel.myeg.com.my) or MyQr by MyEGMobile App for quarantine charges and any COVID-19 screening test that will be taken upon arrival at the Malaysia international point of entry.
4. Travelers are required to download, register and activate MySejahtera online application before entering Malaysia. The application can be downloaded from the following link: http://mysejahtera.malaysia.gov.my.
5. Fully vaccinated travelers (Malaysians and non-Malaysians) are eligible to apply for home quarantine in Malaysia. Travelers must own a residence in Malaysia and fulfill the following vaccination requirements:
* 5 days for the fully vaccinated adults with booster or adolescents travelling alone;
* 7 days for fully vaccinated without booster; and
* 10 days for partially vaccinated or unvaccinated.
Application for home quarantine must be submitted to moh.gov.my by providing the following information:
* residence address;
* total number of households;
* number of households that are above 60 years old and below 12 years old;
* number of households that have chronic disease and pregnant;
* number of rooms in the residence;
* number of bathroom/toilets in the residence;
* number of bedrooms with attached bathroom;
* proof of vaccinations; and
* submit 4-10 days before arrival.
