On 14 September 2021, Mr. Shamsul Nizam Shamsuddin, Consul General handed over the chairmanship of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV) to Mr. Hendra Halim, Consul General of Indonesia. In his remarks, Consul General of Malaysia congratulated Consul General of Indonesia and assured the ACGV’s support for his chairmanship until the end of 2021.
The ceremony was held during the Seventh ACGV Meeting of 2021 at Vancouver City Club. The ACGV also discussed and shared views on the current regional developments, particularly the current status of COVID-19.
