NATIONAL DAY RECEPTION IN VANCOUVER

More than 200 guests attended the Reception comprising government officials of British Columbia, members of the Vancouver Consular corp, local businessmen and academicians, Malaysians residing in Vancouver and Malaysian students studying at local universities.

The event began with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a speech by the Consul General.  A video presentation entitled ‘One Golden Celebration’ was also held. Tourism Malaysia exhibited Malaysia local culture with dance peformance of Malaysian main ethnic groups.

The guests were then invited to taste Malaysian food and dishes prepared by local Malaysian caterers.

The Consul General and his staff thanked all guests who graced the Reception.
