PERWAKILAN VANCOUVER HOSTED A LUNCHEON FOR THE VANCOUVER LADIES CIRCLES.
Vancouver – The Malaysian Ladies Association in Vancouver (PERWAKILAN Vancouver) hosted a Luncheon for the Vancouver Ladies Diplomatic and Consular Corps on Wednesday, 25 April 2007. It was held at the residence of the Consul General and the President of the PERWAKILAN Vancouver – Madam Nor Azirah Noor Hashim, had a cooking demonstration of “Malaysian Chicken Rendang”. The aroma of the spicy chicken rendang may disturb the nose of the guests but they enjoyed eating it when it’s cooked. It was like a “wedding feast” where the authentic Malaysian traditional cakes were served, in addition to the colourful Beryani Rice, Chicken and Beef Satay, Roti Canai & Chicken Curry, Malacca Fried Noodle and variety of Chicken and Beef Rendang.
There were 30 members of the Vancouver Ladies Circles present and they took the opportunity to bid farewell to their Japanese colleague – Ms. Mihoko Yagi, who is heading home after completed her tour of duty in Vancouver.
