H.E Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan paid a courtesy call on H.E Amine Gemayel, former President and leader of the Kataeb party on 3 August 2010. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the latest developments of Lebanon and the region.
They also discussed Malaysia-Lebanon bilateral relations in which H.E Ambassador took the opportunity to explain about the on-going efforts to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
