The Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon organised the MTCP - Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme Alumni Padel Friendly Matches and Networking Session, bringing together Lebanese officials who are MTCP alumni. The programme blended sports diplomacy and networking to strengthen alumni ties, encourage professional exchange, and reinforce Malaysia’s commitment to development cooperation.
Mr Johan Arief Jaafar, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, encouraged continued participation in MTCP courses and highlighted upcoming opportunities for 2026, alongside Visit Malaysia Year 2026 promotional outreach. The event featured friendly matches, alumni sharing sessions, and informal networking, creating an engaging platform for sustained connection.
The initiative reinforced the MTCP alumni network in Lebanon as a strategic channel for people-to-people diplomacy. It enhanced awareness of Malaysia’s training and scholarship offerings while strengthening long-term institutional linkages, supporting Malaysia’s bilateral engagement objectives.
