Mr Johan Arief Jaafar, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut, Lebanon, had the opportunity to visit a fellow Malaysian volunteering with Youth With A Mission YWAM Beirut Impact, a multicultural base dedicated to supporting communities in need across Lebanon.
Mr Johan Arief witnessed firsthand the efforts on the ground, particularly in preparing and packaging meals for displaced families, while also observing the medical supplies being readied for distribution.
With over 1.2 million people displaced and facing daily hardships in Lebanon, initiatives like this reflect the power of compassion, solidarity, and international cooperation.
Malaysians abroad continue to make a difference, contributing to humanitarian efforts and bringing hope to those who need it most.
