On 19 May 2026, His Excellency Dato’ Norman Muhamad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of China met with Mr. Liang Jianjun, Deputy Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and importance concerning Malaysia–China relations, as well as exchanged views on the latest developments in both countries.
Mr Liang also presented to His Excellency Ambassador with the newly translated Chinese version of YAB Prime Minister’s book, entitled Asian Renaissance.
