On 8 June 2026, the Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou received a courtesy call from Mr. Luo Xin, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Qingyuan Municipal People's Government, and his delegation. The meeting served as a valuable platform to exchange views on strengthening cooperation between Malaysia and Qingyuan, particularly in the areas of agriculture, tourism, halal industry development, educational exchanges, and people-to-people relations. Both sides also discussed Qingyuan's development plans and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting closer engagement and mutually beneficial cooperation in the years ahead.
