On 25 April 2026, Consul Ms. Cornelia Chin on behalf of the Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou launched the “Tourism Malaysia X China Southern Airlines Consumer Fair 2026", scheduled on 25 to 26 April 2026 at the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. The event was held in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and featured a number of attractive tour packages to Malaysia. Visitors to the fair had the opportunity to taste all-time Malaysian favourites such as roti bakar and teh tarik; as well as Musang King. A Malaysian dance troupe which performed traditional Malaysian dances also drew in many curious passersby who danced along.
