On 14 January 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the Spring Festival gathering event for ASEAN friends and family in Nanning, at the China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange (CAMEX).
Prior to the dinner, the guests were treated to a delightful cocktail session, featuring premium bird nest from Malaysia.
The program began with a special and auspicious Yee Sang tossing ceremony that was joined by the Consul General, CAMEX President Ms. Bebe Zhao and other officials. Additionally, the guests also had the opportunity to experience local intangible heritage of tea making, traditional Spring Festival celebration culture, and savour a selection of dishes and delicacies from both China and ASEAN countries.
