On 22 December 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in a briefing on the 20th National Congress of Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy at Nanning Mingdu Lakeside Hotel.
Mr. Wei Ran, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attended the briefing and delivered a speech. He stressed that Guangxi will make full use of its strategic geographical location to develop a friendly relations with its neighbouring countries, and make greater breakthroughs in the process of serving and integrating into the country’s new pattern of development.
Organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the briefing was also attended by Consuls-General of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand in Nanning, as well as foreign experts, international students, Hong Kong and Macao representatives in Guangxi.
