Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended a bilateral video meeting between Malaysia and China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat for the 2021 CAEXPO on 8 July 2021 in Nanning.
Both sides briefed on the preparations for the upcoming event which will be held in a hybrid mode as last year from 10 to 13 September 2021 due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting also yielded fruitful discussions on several issues that concerned from both sides.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mdm. Sharimahton Mat Saleh, Deputy CEO (Export Acceleration) of MATRADE HQ and Mr. Zeng Zhong, Vice Secretary-General of CAEXPO Secretariat. Also present at the meeting from the Malaysian side were officials from MATRADE, MIDA and Tourism Malaysia Guangzhou office; and officials from MITI and MATRADE HQ.
