On 16 September 2022, Consul-General Mr. Azlimi bin Zakaria accompanied H.E. Raja Dato’ Nushirwan Zainal Abidin, Ambassador of Malaysia to China to attended the 2nd Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Economic and Trade Cooperation Business Summit and the High-quality RCEP implementation Summit in Nanning, Guangxi.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister of MITI Senator Datuk Lim Ban Hong was invited to deliver a keynote speech during the opening ceremony. He said, Malaysia and China should capitalise on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor along with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to strengthen the existing trade and investment ties.
Also present the event were officials from MITI, Education and MAFI Malaysia.
